Halfway to Elite Eight

Villanova's defense has been superb, especially around the basket. Duke could get noting in the paint in the first half.
The Wildcats enjoyed an 18-6 advantage in the paint and had an 11-2 advantage in points in the paint.
The story, though, is Villanova's defense. It has been simply smothering.
Gerald Henderson has been thwarted at every turn and you can see the frustration building on Kyle Singler's face.
Jon Scheyer had it going early for the Blue Devils, but he, too, has been silenced.
If the 'Cats keep this up, it will be an all-Big East showdown in the East Regional final Saturday.
