Anderson hopes to keep NBA dream alive

Dwayne Anderson should find a home in the next few days. The 6-6 forward from Villanova said he is in negotiations with the Wizards, Bobcats and Spurs to play in the NBA Summer League, which he hopes will lead to a spot on an NBA roster.
Anderson said he was looking for the team that is the right fit for him.
"That's what it comes down to," he said by phone.
Anderson said he was not surprised that the Portland Trail Blazers selected his teammate and longtime friend Dante Cunningham with the 33rd pick in the NBA Draft.
"I thought he would go sooner than that," Anderson said.
Elsewhere on the Villanova front, guard Corey Fisher has played well for Team USA as it prepares for the World University Games in New Zealand.
The 6-1 junior was the second-leading scorer during the team's three-game tuneup in Belgrade, Serbia. He averaged 12.3 points as Team USA beat Canada and Russia, and fell to Serbia. The team is coached by Chester native and Wisconsin head coach Bo Ryan
