Bolt to anchor Jamaica Gold

The tentative lineups are out for the USA vs. World Series at the Penn Relays and Usain Bolt is slated to anchor the Jamaica Gold team in the 4 x 100-meter relay at 2:50 this afternoon.
Joining Bolt on that relay team are Mario Forsythe, Yohan Blake and Marvin Anderson.
The Jamaicans and the Americans have two teams in the 4 x 100. USA Blue will be anchored by Ivory Williams and Rae Edwards will run the final leg for USA Red.
If you're not here already, you may have trouble finding a seat. Franklin Field is filling up fast in anticipation of Bolt's appearance.

Running for Nicole

The Lebanon Valley women's track & field team is on a mission this season. The Dutchmen have dedicated the season to former teammate and Archbishop Prendergast grad Nicole Gallo, who was tragically killed in a hit-and-run outside of Delaware County Memorial Hospital.
In addition, the Dutchmen are raising funds for the Sunshine Foundation in Nicole's honor. Anyone who wishes to contribute to this worthy cause can do so on-line at http://www.godutchmen.com/news/2010/2/4/MTRK_0204102325.aspx
Alix Sanders, Katie Evison, Meggy McLean and Johanna Walker did Nicole proud by winning their heat in the college women's 4 x 100-meter relay today at the Penn Relays.
With All-Delco Rayiana Johnson running the achor leg, the Chester girls qualified for Saturday's Tri-State 4 x 100 championship with a time of 48.39. Meyadah Hill, Janasia Womack and Taneira Bowman were alson on that relay team.
Penncrest and Upper Darby are the first and second alternates, respectively, in that event.
One of the high school announcers for the carnival is Bonner grad and West Chester Henderson coach Bill Lott.
